How we handle your information
This page explains what personal information Gangadin & Company Legal Services P.C. collects through this website, why, and who can see it.
Last updated: October 18, 2026
Please do not send confidential details or documents through this website until we have confirmed in writing that we can act for you. We run a conflict check first.
Who we are
Gangadin & Company Legal Services P.C., 300 North Queen St., Unit 106N, Etobicoke, ON M9C 5K4. Phone (647) 250-2058. Email [email protected]. Send privacy questions or requests to that email address.
What we collect
- Consultation request form: your name, email, phone number, the type of matter, any hearing, court or filing date you give, and the message you write.
- Booking an appointment: the booking page is run by Google Calendar. Google collects the details the booking page asks for, such as your name, email and phone number, and passes them to us. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that page.
- Phone, email and visits to our office: whatever you tell us or send us.
- Chat assistant (“Ask a question”): at the time of writing, the assistant answers from a list of approved answers inside your browser. What you type is not sent to us or stored by us. If we change this, we will update this page first.
- Technical information: our website host, Cloudflare, handles your IP address and basic request details to deliver and protect the site. The site also loads its fonts from Google, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not set cookies for those purposes. Our hosting and security providers may use technical logs.
How we use it
- To reply to you and arrange a time to speak.
- To check whether we have a conflict of interest before we accept a matter. For this we may ask for the names of the other people or businesses involved.
- To act for you and keep records of your matter, if you become our client.
- To meet our legal and professional obligations.
- To keep this website secure and working.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for marketing unless you have agreed to receive it.
Confidentiality
We are bound by the confidentiality duties in the Paralegal Rules of Conduct of the Law Society of Ontario. Information about a client’s matter is kept confidential, subject only to the limited exceptions allowed by law and those rules.
Sending a request through this website does not make us your representative. Until we confirm in writing that we have accepted your matter and have completed our conflict check, please send only the basics: your name, how to reach you, the type of matter, any deadline, and the names of the other parties. Please do not send documents, evidence or confidential details at that stage.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that help us run the firm and this website, such as Cloudflare (website hosting, the consultation form and email delivery), Google (email, calendar, the booking page and fonts), and the practice management and accounting software we use for client records.
- Courts, tribunals and other parties, only as needed to act on a matter you have retained us for.
- Others when you agree, or when the law or our professional rules require or allow it.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. Laws there may allow authorities to access it.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, and as long as the law and our professional rules require us to keep client records. When we no longer need it, we delete it or dispose of it securely.
How we protect it
This website uses HTTPS. We limit who can see requests and use reputable providers. Email and online forms are not perfectly secure. If something is urgent or sensitive, please phone us.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it, subject to legal and professional limits. Email us and we will respond. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Other websites
Links to Google Maps, Google reviews, case law sources and other websites lead to sites we do not run. Their own privacy policies apply.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
